The H2O Biotap end-point medical tap filter is specially designed to protect immunocompromised patients against all types of pathogens that can be found in water by providing validated sterile grade filtration that does not alter the chemical composition of the water.
It prevents against nosocomial infectious diseases caused by waterborne germs such as Legionella pneumophila, Pseudomona, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiela or any other type of pathogen common in high or low risk hospital settings.
First filter on the market worldwide manufactured 90% from biobased and biodegradable materials under industrial compostability conditions.
Filter finished with more than 60% of BBC (Bio- Based Carbon) as a fraction of the total carbon, in standardized test EN16640:2017 (AMS) carried out in an accredited independent laboratory.
This version together with our customized faucet allows a sufficient working space at all times, further reduces the risk of backward contamination, allows the choice of outlet flow whether it is laminar or shower effect, and even allows for a reduction of water consumption if the customer deems it appropriate.
Our filters are 100% compatible and resistant to all systemic water pathogen prevention procedures such as chlorination or thermal shock.
