Infection control by point-of-use water filtration in an intensive care unit – a Hungarian case study

In this Thesis the theme is about whether Hospital tap water it is a potential source of pathogenic bacteria associated with nosocomial infections or not, it is very important in order to improve Hospital conditions. The use of point-of-use filters is used to study the quality of water in an intensive care unit in an Hungarian Hospital, a hospital which has many cases of Pseudmonas aeruginosa. Successfully it was observed that the rate of nosocomial P. aeruginosa infections decreased when the filters were in place as the results show of the following thesis please see bellow.
